Ahead of its investor day meet, L Brands expects October comparable sales to be up 1 percent, including an expected 2 percent decline in comparable sales at Victoria’s Secret offset by 6 percent rise at Bath & Body Works. This is against 5 percent increase in comparable sales, the company reported in October, last year.
The company now expects third quarter earnings per share to be about 0.40 dollars against its previous guidance of 0.40 dollar to 0.45 dollars and last year’s result of 0.55 dollar.
