Bestseller menswear brand Jack and Jones has signed a deal with Australian department store Myer to open a number of shop-in-shops during the summer this year.

Myer currently has 67 department stores in Australia, and Jack and Jones plans to open 54 shop-in-shops during a 4-week period in 40 department stores across the country. The first shop-in-shop will open on August 17 in Myer’s Melbourne store.

There will be “several different shop-in-shop solutions," Bestseller confirmed, as they look to feature several Jack and Jones lines, adding that items have been selected in “close cooperation” with the Myer team to ensure the right fit.

International sales manager at Jack and Jones, Dennis Birk Jørgensen, said: “To gain foothold on the Australian market is an extremely good opportunity for Bestseller. The Australian consumers are moving in the right direction when it comes to fashion awareness, and with Jack and Jones’ price policy and platform, we can give the market a new international dimension and something the Australian consumers haven’t seen before. Our goal is to be the most inexpensive of the coolest brands.”
