French fashion house Chanel is planning to stage its fashion shows in New York, Rome and Seoul this year.

First up will be another staging of Chanel’s Métiers d’arts collection on March 31 in New York City. The collection first showed in an 18th century palace in Austria last month and its reprise will allow American buyers and press who weren’t flown out to see the line that drops in May.

Then the French fashion house will be continuing on tour to Seoul, Korea, where the Dongdaemun Design Plaza will be the backdrop for Chanel’s 2015-16 Cruise collection on May 4. The last Cruise collection travelled to Dubai, where Chanel took over a small island 650 metres off-shore from Jumeirah beach.

The final stop on the Chanel tour this year will be Rome, where the 2015/16 Métiers d'art collection will be showcased. The collection, which showcases the work of the 10 artisan manufacturers housed under its Paraffection umbrella, also spotlights cities linked to the fashion house’s history. Rome joins the likes of Dallas, Edinburgh, Tokyo and Shanghai as places to have accommodated the Parisian brand’s Métiers d'art collection. The show is due to take place on December 1.
