Los Angeles - Trendy lifestyle brand Cotton On has recently teamed with e-commerce hub Amazon for online distribution. The Australian-based retailer will be using Amazon to expand its overall reach for its children’s line Cotton On Kids in the United States.

The children’s clothing category of Cotton On will start this July. According to WWD, the brand will be available in the U.S. through the e-tailer. The new clothing line will be directed at children from newborn up to ages nine. As reported by the publication, chief executive officer Peter Johnson has stated that so far Cotton On Kids has been growing successfully. However, to increase sales by 15 percent, the company needs to keep up with its expansion on all fronts including U.S. territory. Currently, there are six Cotton On Kids locations in the U.S. The new partnership with Amazon will help for Cotton On to use analytics and understand where children’s clothing is most popular. In this new venture, the company hopes to bolster its emerging brand and continue onward with its success.

Cotton On currently has 1,400 stores operating internationally. The company has been established for over 25 years now. The company size also has over 20,000 employees. With its new strategy, the retailer is planning to double its overall sales within the next three years. Currently, the brand has not disclosed projected sales figures to the public.
