New York - Last March, Emilio Pucci named Massimo Giorgetti their new Creative Director. Now, the brand will also be getting a new CEO as well. Mauro Grimaldi, Vice President of Sales, Marketing, and Communications at Elie Saab in Paris, will take over as Emilio Pucci's new CEO on September 14.

Grimaldi has been with Elie Saab for two years, and prior to that he was the West/ Central Europe Director of Salvatore Ferragamo for six years. Grimaldi will report to Pierre-Yves Roussel, the Chairman and CEO of LVMH's fashion group. Pucci has not had a CEO since 2014.

Their previous CEO, Alessandra Carra, was CEO for three years before she left the brand for Agnona, the luxury brand owned by Ermenegildo Zegna, and formerly helmed by Stefano Pilati. Laudomia Pucci, Emilio Pucci's daughter, served as interim CEO, and will remain with the company as an image director and member of the board of directors. Grimaldi will help steer Pucci into a new era, with Giorgetti's new designs combining Pucci's heritage of colors and prints and his own love for silhouettes ushering in a new aesthetic for the luxury label.
