Hermès H1 turnover improves 15 percent

The Hermès Group’s consolidated revenue amounted to 3,284 million euros (3,623 million dollars) in the first half of 2019, up 15 percent at current exchange rates and 12 percent at constant exchange rates. The company said, recurring operating income increased 15 percent, to reach 1,144 million euros (1,262 million dollars), while net profit reached 754 million euros (832 million dollars) compared to 706 million euros at the end of June 2018, up 7 percent. Hermès added that in the medium term, despite growing economic, geopolitical and monetary uncertainties around the world, the group expects revenue growth at constant exchange rates.
